Rocklin Pony Youth Baseball Age Divisions 

Rocklin Pony Youth Baseball offers the following divisions listed below, age criteria are listed for each division.

Player age determined as of April 30, 2025.  See age chart below for 2024 Fall Ball season and 2025 Spring Ball season.

Shetland 4 - all 4 year olds
Shetland 5 - all 5 year olds
Shetland 6 - all 6 year olds
Pinto 1 – all 7 year olds
Pinto 2 – all 8 year olds
Mustang - 9 and 10 year olds.  
Bronco - 11 and 12 year olds.   
Pony - 13 and 14 year olds

Rocklin Pony does not allow players to play up or down a division for recreation baseball.  For players of high skill levels who are seeking additional challenges and competition, our Select program allows players to play up a division if the Select coaches and player's parents agree to do so.  Playing up ONLY applies to the Sunday Select program, and does not apply to the Monday through Saturday recreation schedule.
